2023 (ongoing), cyanotypes on kozo paper (each square 8” x 8”)

These solar-printed paper squares are made using botanicals and laser-printed negatives. They incorporate excerpts of language from the poems in my debut collection, UNDERSHORE, forthcoming from Lightscatter Press. Eventually they will be sewn together to form a quilt large enough to cover a queen-sized bed. They have been digitized and paired with audio recordings of the poems as part of the book’s multimodal presentation—view that project here. Learn more about the cyanotype printing process here.
